It is common amongst hotels that high standards are maintained for fire and hygiene procedures. However, there are numerous other parts of legislation that hotel management find hard to get around to. Statistics show that within the Hotel Industry there are around 1.7 million people employed, with 1600 serious accidents reported each year.
It is our experience that managers of hotels are fully stretched in their day to day tasks and duties, leaving little time to get to grips with the Food Safety Act 1990 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
